Early Learning

Sound to Harbor Learning Programs/Head Start/ECEAP

Sound to Harbor Head Start and ECEAP provides comprehensive individualized preschool education, health education, and family support to promote family engagement and school readiness.

The program offers free to low-cost services to families with a limited income who have children that will be 3 or 4 years old by August 31. This is a free preschool program open to low income families and children on IEP's. Enrollment is based on income qualifications. Community Youth Services

Community Youth Services empowers youth at-risk and their families to meet their goals for safety, stability, belonging and success by providing a continuum of individualized services and advocacy.

 

Timberland Regional Library (TRL)

TRL provides for the entertainment, information, and lifelong learning needs of Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston county residents at 27 community public libraries and six library service partner locations. All Timberland library programs are free and open to the public. Anyone needing special accommodations to participate in a library’s programs may contact the library one week in advance. United Way South Sound 211

By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can access a live Information and Referral Specialist between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. Specialists can guide the caller to programs that meet their unique needs. The most requested resources include rent assistance, housing and shelter programs, dental care, health care programs, holiday gifts, utility assistance, transportation, food, clothing, furniture, house goods and employment.

Dispute Resolution Center

The DRC empowers people to resolve their disputes by providing conflict resolution and mediation services, and trains community members in those skills. They envision a South Sound community that has and uses healthy and respectful conflict resolution skills.

Catholic Community Services

CCS Family Behavioral Health provides therapeutic foster care for youth in the community using the Mockingbird Family Model (MFM). The MFM creates an intentional community of foster homes dedicated to supporting each other and the youth in their homes. We provide 24/7 support, ongoing training, and a team of professionals to work with you and the youth in your home.
