Flags lowered to half-staff through Aug. 30
Gov. Jay Inslee has directed that Washington State and United States flags at all state agencies, including schools and support buildings, be lowered to half-staff through August 30 in honor of the U.S. service members and other victims killed in the terrorist attack on August 26, 2021, in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Monday, August 30, 2021.
