MAP Growth Norms Update
Map growth Norms have been updated. The distribution of students is much more variable and shifted downwards. This means that a student who previously would have a RIT score of 234 and would have been in the 40th percentile might now be in the 50th percentile. So more students have lower RIT scores on average and less students have higher RIT scores on average which shifts the percentiles up. See this 2025 Fact Sheet from NWEA for more details.
