Free & Reduced Meal Applications: More Than Meal Benefits

Olympia School District families interested in completing a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application for the 2026-27 school year can do so beginning Friday, August 28, when Skyward Qmlativ Family Access opens for the new school year.

The online application in Qmlativ is quick, confidential and easier to complete than the printed application. Families only need to complete one application per household. To apply in Qmlativ, select Food Service Applications → Start a New Application.

Paper applications are also available at school front offices, and families may complete one at any time during the school year if their circumstances change.
Qualifying for free or reduced-price meals can help families manage household food costs while ensuring students have access to nutritious meals at school. Eligibility may also help students access additional benefits and reduced or waived fees.

Completing an application is also important beyond individual family benefits. Free and reduced-price eligibility helps determine funding and resources available to our schools and students, so participation helps ensure the district receives the support for which it qualifies.
