Back to School Night with the Tacoma Rainiers, Wed. September 9

Join your Olympia School District friends and families for a fun Back-to-School Night with the Tacoma Rainiers on Wednesday, September 9! 

Come out to Cheney Stadium as the Tacoma Rainiers take on the El Paso Chihuahuas. First pitch is at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday is also an early release day, giving families some extra time to make the trip to Tacoma. The forecast is calling for temperatures in the mid-70s, perfect weather for an evening at the ballpark!

Be sure to arrive early to cheer on the Capital High School Chamber Choir as they sing the National Anthem, and Capital Assistant Principal Jawanne Brown as he throws out the ceremonial first pitch.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other district families, celebrate the start of the 2026-27 school year and enjoy a night at the ballpark.
