Remember to vote in August 3 Primary Election

Ballots for the August 3, 2021 Primary Election have been sent to registered voters and must be mailed or dropped off in postage-free ballot drop boxes by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office mailed local ballots to registered voters on July 14, 2021. All Washington state elections are vote-by-mail.

Ballot drop boxes are open 24 hours daily and will continue to accept ballots until 8 p.m. on Election Day. For a list of drop box locations in the Olympia School District, visit the Thurston County Auditor’s Office Elections Division website.

There are three candidates vying for the District 3 seat and three candidates vying for the District 5 position on the Olympia School Board. The top two vote-getters in this Primary Election will advance to the November 2, 2021 General Election.
