Governor Inslee has ordered that flags at all state
agencies, including school and district facilities be lowered to half-staff on
Wednesday, January 17 in memory of Pierce County Deputy Daniel A. McCartney,
34, who was shot and killed while responding to a burglary call on January 8,
2018.
Flags will remain at half-staff until close of business or
sunset on January 17.
