Olympia School District

The Olympia School District values providing students with opportunities to access their post high school goals. Student Outcome 2: Have the academic and life skills to pursue their individual career, civic and educational goals. To support this Outcome, the OSD has partnered with colleges/universities to remove the barrier of access to college.

Program #1: The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (link): 

• Requirements: 

  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Students must have completed or are on track to complete by fall of 2025 all of the College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs).

• Participating Washington four-year public institutions: Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, The Evergreen State College, University of Washington Tacoma, Washington State University and Western Washington University.

Program #2: Automatic Admission Partnership Pacific Lutheran University (link):

• Requirements:

  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher

  • Students must have taken Algebra 2

• Students complete an Acceptance Form once they receive notification of their automatic admissions.

Program #3: Direct Admission Partnership Saint Martin’s University (link):

• Requirements: 

  • Students must be on track to complete all high school requirements

  • Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Students must have completed intermediate algebra/algebra 2 by senior year.

• Eligible students will be awarded a merit scholarship ranging from $22,000-29,000 per year for up to four years.
