The Washington State Patrol will conduct an active shooter and reality-based training exercise on Tuesday, March 3, from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the old John Rogers School building.
This is a routine in-service training for Washington State Patrol. The building, used for district storage, will be closed with signs posted around the property notifying people that the training is underway.
Neighbors and motorists passing by may notice some State Patrol vehicles parked at the building, located at 2001 26th Ave. N.E. in Olympia.
